Why the qualification is part of the requirement
Council conditions, planning schemes and development approvals across South East Queensland routinely specify who may prepare arboricultural material — commonly "a suitably qualified arborist", and frequently AQF Level 5 explicitly.
That means the qualification is not a credential on a website. It is part of what the approval asks for, and a report from someone who does not hold it may not satisfy the condition however sound the assessment is.
So it is worth being able to check. Adam can provide details directly where a certifier, council or insurer requires them.
The five
In the wording supplied.

- AQF Level 5 Consulting ArboristThe consulting-level arboricultural qualification, concerned with assessment, diagnosis and reporting rather than with carrying out tree work. This is the one approvals name.
- Diploma of ArboricultureFormal qualification in arboriculture, underpinning the assessment and reporting work.
- QTRA Licence No. 6712Licensed to apply the Quantified Tree Risk Assessment method. Applying QTRA requires training and a current licence — an assessment described as QTRA by someone unlicensed is not one.
- Member, Queensland Arborist AssociationMember of the state professional body for arborists in Queensland.
- Enviro Development ProfessionalHeld credential.
Why there are no logos on this page
A rendered association badge reads as an endorsement. Reproducing the QTRA or Queensland Arborist Association marks would require a licence this business does not hold, so the site names the credentials in text and leaves it there.
The small glyphs used alongside credentials elsewhere on this site are original line drawings made for it. They are not association marks and are not intended to resemble any.
If you need the credentials verified for a submission, ask — Adam can provide the details directly rather than through a graphic.
And the part that is not a qualification
Around twenty years in arboriculture, roughly five to six of those consulting specifically. Both figures are approximate, as supplied.
The earlier years were practical — climbing, pruning, removals, running crews. That is not a credential and it does not appear on any condition, but it is the reason recommendations tend to be implementable rather than merely correct.
