Advice on trees, from someone who does not sell the work.
Adam De Regt is an AQF Level 5 consulting arborist. Everything below is assessment, reporting and advice — the specialist work he does carry out belongs to that role, and nothing beyond it.

What this is
A consultancy, not a tree company
Most businesses with "arborist" on the van are contractors — they prune, they remove, they grind stumps, and the report is something they write on the way to quoting the works. That is a legitimate trade. It is not this business.
Adams Arboriculture assesses, reports and advises. Adam has around twenty years in arboriculture, including climbing, pruning, removals and running crews, so the advice is written by someone who knows what it costs to carry out. But he has no financial interest in the work a report recommends, which means retaining a tree and removing it are the same outcome to him.
Some physical work does sit inside the consulting role — root pruning, root investigations, supervision inside tree protection areas, and plant healthcare treatments where a diagnosis calls for them. That is the boundary, and it does not move.

The five
Where Adam is usually engaged
Five groups, each with its own pages underneath. If the situation spans more than one, that is normal — most development projects touch three.

Common questions
Working out what you need
Send the property address and whatever you have been told. Most enquiries are sorted in one conversation — the question is usually whether the vegetation is protected, what document has been named, and what stage the project is at. Those three answers pick the service.
Both. Developers, architects and builders are the core commercial audience, but residential property owners, councils, schools and other consultants all engage Adam. A tree near a house is the same assessment work as a tree on a development site.
You can, and many are perfectly competent. The structural difference is that a report from a business that would also carry out the works is written by someone whose fee changes with the outcome. Adam's does not. That is worth knowing before you commission one, not after.
No, and that is deliberate. This is a consultancy. He carries out specialist work that belongs to the consulting role — root pruning, root investigations, supervision, plant healthcare treatments — but general removal, lopping and pruning contracting are outside the business, which is exactly what keeps the advice independent.
Brisbane is the core market, with the service area running north to about Noosa, south to about Helensvale and west to about Ipswich. Adam advises on vegetation approvals across seven South East Queensland councils, and travel further afield is considered for suitable projects.
